Montigny features in Febelcem’s publication series Dossier Cement
Every year, Febelcem (Federation of the Belgian Cement Industry) invites an architectural office to explain a project in which cement plays a central role, and the details are presented in the publication series entitled 'Dossier Cement'. This year, META's project Woon- en Werkunits Montigny in Antwerp was selected. "This office, which was established exactly a quarter of a century ago, has worked steadily on a varied but consistent oeuvre of commercial and residential buildings ... For META, architecture is also ‘a craft, a métier, where the least obvious questions provide an excuse for creativity’. There could be no better illustration than they way in which the potential of concrete is harnessed by the designers, whether cast in-situ or prefabricated."
