The renovation of the small 19th century villa is done in two phases.
First, a thorough renovation of the existing house is done in which the building is completely stripped before all rooms are renewed.
The second phase was initiated three years after the first. Here it was the intention to expand the house with a living room, completely directed towards the garden and where the terrace is partially sunken in to the curve of the terrain. The expansion consists of a wooden skeleton. It is clad both inside and out with wood, contrary to the massive original volume.
