This brick sculpture (recuperation stone) is in sharp contrast with the surrounding lusciousness of the woods of Limburg.

In 1 clear movement the house, reception, carport and garden shed are enclosed. The passage on the ground floor houses a parking spot and the entrance, the indent on the first floor ensures a deep eastern light in the living room. The further façade treatment is also clear: extremely closed in the street side, extremely open on the garden side.

This house combines two worlds: in materials, texture and detailing it refers to a Flemish farm house, in form and contrast with the surroundings it refers to the history of modernism.
