Foundation stone laid for Normaalschool site redevelopment Lier
On Thursday November 18th, 2021, the laying of the foundation stone of our project Normaalschool site redevelopment Lier took place by mayor Frank Boogaerts. At the same time, the first square of the site was officially inaugurated: Barbara Vettersplein, named after the mother superior of the Sint-Elisabeth hospital in Lier. Finally, the project also received a new name and was renamed to Het Academisch Kwartier Lier.
