META selected for Stadhuis-Pupillen site in Aalst

In the centre of Aalst, Belgium, the Stadhuis-Pupillen site is being developed on behalf of the City of Aalst and AGSA. The project consists of a three clusters of buildings comprising the historic town hall on the Grote Markt square, the Zwarte Zusters monastery, House De Kegel, Hotel Van Langenhove and the former Pupillenschool, adjacent to Utopia.

The team consists of CIT RED (project development), CIT Blaton (general construction), META architectuurbureau (architecture), Pascal François Architects (architecture), aNNo architecten (architecture, heritage consultancy), OKRA Landschapsarchitecten (outdoor space design), VK Engineering PoS (structural, MEP, sustainability, acoustical, energy and ventilation engineering), Sweco Belgium (soil expert) and Feys (safety coordination).
